Melina Theo is a multilingual actress and voiceover artist based in London and Amsterdam.
She has held leading roles in a number of films, including Wavelength, Two Under Two, A Strange Connection and Somewhere New. Melina has received great acclaim for her performance in the Greek production of Duncan Macmillan’s and Jonny Donahoe’s worldwide smash hit play Every Brilliant Thing, which she has performed all around Greece, Cyprus and in London. Before the corona crisis hit, she was due to appear in Katie Mitchell’s new opera production at the National Opera House in Amsterdam.
Melina’s stage credits in the UK include The Return of the Exile (Yard Theatre), Medea (Forest Fringe Festival, Edinburgh), Kiss the Shadow (Lyric Hammersmith Studio), NASA (BAC) and The Kindness of Strangers (Watford Palace Theatre). In Athens, Melina appeared as the infamous Arsinoe in a celebrated production of The Misanthrope.
Her voice has featured in Ubisoft’s global franchise game Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, in countless campaigns for radio and television, language learning courses, in-flight announcements, and TV series (Peaky Blinders, BBC). She is the voice of the Greek edition of the toy My Little Pony.
Melina has a BA in French and Italian (First Class) from UCL and an MA in Text and Performance Studies from RADA and King’s College.
